Mass Removal

We can surgically remove most lumps and bumps. This service, however, requires an exam beforehand, available during our walk in clinic hours. We will give you an estimated range based upon the size, location, and difficulty involved in the removal of any masses. The estimate is valid to be scheduled for 30 days, unless the mass has changed since the exam. We recommend that all masses be submitted to our outside lab for histopathology (identification), but this is an optional service.

What to expect

We collect a mandatory prepaid non-refundable scheduling fee to secure all surgical appointments. This is not the full cost of the service, it is just to reserve your appointment. The scheduling fee will go towards the total cost of procedure at the time of checking out. Failure to pay the scheduling fee in a timely manner may result in loss of appointment date.

We will not schedule any mass removal surgeries online, by email, or by phone, you must schedule in person after having a formal estimate preformed. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Non-Refundable Scheduling Fee:

This is not the full payment for the surgery, for mass removals this will it is half or less than half of the base price for surgery. This will be put towards your total on the day of surgery, it is not the full total of surgery.

Cancellations or reschedules made WITHIN THE 48 hour window of the scheduled appointment will lose their non-refundable scheduling fee.

Cancellation made BEFORE THE 48 hour window will receive a credit on their account, we do not offer refunds for the non-refundable scheduling fee.

If your pet is nervous, anxious, or aggressive please bring your pet in for a general physical exam during our walk in clinic hours for our doctor to determine which calming medications are necessary before surgical visits to ensure your pet has the best possible experience. If your pet is fractious or difficult at the time of the appointment you will either be asked to stay until the pet is ready for surgery or you will need to reschedule and the pet will be put on calming medications.

Day of Surgery

Surgeries are only performed on Tuesdays and Fridays.

8am drop off  -->  4pm pick up

Please plan for traffic!

The person dropping off will be asked about the additional options (extractions, medications, bloodwork, etc.). If it is someone other than the primary owner we need their first and last name to be added to the account and they are expected to know which options are authorized by the primary owner, as they will sign a surgical release.

We do not call when you pet is ready for pick up. No news is good news, we typically only call if there is a concern (bad behavior from pet, unfavorable bloodwork, emergency during surgery, etc.).

All surgery patients are released with specific instructions for the pets post surgical care. Complications are rare, if these post surgical directions are followed.

Payment is due during pick up, unless otherwise stated by the clinic. We do not accept care credit, pet insurance, or checks. We also do not work with rescue organizations or third parties. The person who schedules the appointment is responsible for payment, surgery options, etc.

We will offer a printed copy of the full medical record for the appointment. We will also send an identical PDF via email. We do not have any hidden soap/doctor's notes. We do not communicate with any insurance companies. You have access to all records at any time using your pet's portal.

We do not preform any surgeries for Rottweilers.

We do not preform any surgeries on French Bulldogs due to increased risks.

We do not preform any surgeries for Wolves or wolfdog hybrids (they are considered exotic by our state and we cannot legally offer any services).

We do not preform any surgeries on Savanah cats or Bengals due to increased risks with these breeds.

Dobermans are required to have Von Willebrand's testing PRIOR to scheduling any surgeries with us, unfortunately we do not offer Von Willebrand's testing as a low cost clinic, meaning this test would need to be done elsewhere.

Any owners of Golden Retriever's are encouraged to do their own research about the pros and cons of having a Golden Retriever spayed or neutered before scheduling.
