DISPUTES OR CHARGEBACKS

Disputing charges by or on behalf of Lowcountry Pet Wellness Clinic in North Charleston SC may result in being blacklisted (banned) from future purchases and should not be used as a method for obtaining a “refund”.

SURGERY

CANCELLATIONS

In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling by Lowcountry Pet Wellness Clinic, clients will be notified promptly, and alternative arrangements may be offered at our discretion. We do not offer any refunds for appointments, at the time of scheduling you pay a NON-REFUNDABLE scheduling fee. If you cancel your appointment 48 hours or more before the appointment the scheduling fee will remain on your account as a credit. Cancellations or rescheduling can be done by emailing us or leaving us a message on our answering machine. If you fail to cancel before the 48 hour mark you will not receive a credit or a refund. Not showing up on time for your appointment is considered a same day cancellation.

WALK-IN CLINIC

CHECK-IN

We are a walk-in clinic, you must check-in to join our waitlist for the day. There are 3 different lists that we sort our visits in to maximize our efficiency. We take our list up 30 minutes before our closing time, with no exceptions. On Tuesday evenings only, we have a maximum of 40 pets we will see and open for check-in 1 hour early at 4pm, due to surgery pick up. If you do not receive a text message within 15 minutes of check-in please let the check-in know. This ​is a walk-in clinic so lengthy wait - times are to be expected.

Please keep in mind that if your pet is at this clinic for an illness, injury, issue, etc. they may have a longer wait time. These appointments take longer with diagnostics, treatment, client communication, etc. Vaccine appointments tend to be much faster so you may see some other appointments moving a bit later than yours, this is to be expected.

NO SHOW

If you are marked as a no show, this indicates that you are not present in the lobby or within earshot when a technician is calling for your pet's name when it is your turn. If it is before we take our list up, you must check-in another time to join our waitlist again, if it is after we take the list up then you must come back another day. It is recommended to wait in the lobby or outside on a bench when you receive the message that you are top 5 in line, unless your pet is sick and you have been instructed to wait in the car or outside until it is your turn.
